List of Improv Ask Fors

Have you stepped onstage and wondered, “what do I ask the audience?“ We want to connect, surprise, and inspire the audience. The ask for is a small way so surprise, inspire, and connect with an audience. I think it’s often overlooked in getting unique audience suggestions. Of course, as improvisers, we can make ANY suggestion work, but surprising an audience and ourselves can be fun!

We’ve all asked, “What’s your occupation?“ and “Favorite vacation destination? “ a million times. Here’s a list of…well….A LOT of Improv ask fors. Many of these can be used as a one-off or as the start of a conversation with the audience member. I hope they help! I’ll update the list regularly.
